The day April 28, 2000 validated the distinctively-styled newsletters
Personalize Publication produces. The Spring Addition 1999 for Sturken Auto Body’s newsletter (San Jose, CA), Bottom Line in Body Work, was awarded “1st Place” by the prestigious, Peninsula Press Club.

Our simple four-page, one-color “X-File” spoof was the winning newsletter. Entries included 13 Northern California counties, covering an area including Monterey, San Jose, San Francisco and north to the Oregon border.

Stop The Presses – We’ve Won Again!
“Newsletter, 1st Place 2000” was once again awarded to us (April 30, 2001) by the Peninsula Press Club for the 2000 fall edition of Spencer’s Dealership Alternative (Santa Cruz, CA).

Affectionately known as the “Screw You Newsletter,” Owner Joe Spencer is on the front cover, holding a three-foot screw above his head. The headline, "You’ll Never Be Screwed By Joe Spencer," shows those judging best newsletter, indeed, have a sense of humor.
